Binghamton’s Porchfest, a musical celebration involving more than 100 bands performing on native porches all through the neighborhood, will have fun its tenth anniversary in 2025. According to Chris Bodnarczuk, the pageant’s director, Binghamton Porchfest is modeled after a porchfest occasion initially held in Ithaca in 2007.
Performances will start at midday and run until 7 p.m. on Aug. 31. In 2025, Porchfest will characteristic more than 130 bands performing on 60 porches all through Binghamton’s West Side neighborhood, a far cry from the 50 bands on 20 porches current in 2015, the occasion’s first yr.
