A trio of world title fights was announced on Thursday to be part of the Oct. 31 Saul “Canelo” Alvarez vs. Christian Mbilli “Mexico vs. The World” card in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Leading the supporting forged is WBA tremendous middleweight champion Jaime Munguía, who defends his title against the unbeaten Russian Nikita Zon.

Munguía (46-2, 35 KOs) captured the belt with a dominant unanimous resolution win over Armando Resendiz in May. The Mexican was ordered to defend his championship against Bektemir Melikuziev next, and it is at the moment unclear whether the WBA will sanction the Oct. 31 combat because the necessary dedication stays excellent.
Zon (12-0-1, 10 KOs) was last in motion on the Dmitry Bivol vs. Michael Eifert undercard in May, stopping Nahuel Gonzalo Garcia in 5 rounds. Although Zon is unbeaten, it will be a main step up for him to the world stage, as he hasn’t fought a acknowledged opponent yet.
Elsewhere on the card, Mexico’s Lindolfo Delgado and Russian-born Canadian Arthur Biyarslanov contest the vacant IBF tremendous light-weight championship.

Delgado (24-0, 16 KOs) will be ending an 11-month layoff since edging out Gabriel Valenzuela in an IBF title eliminator. While Biyarslanov (21-0, 17 KOs) earned the best win of his profession against Sergey Lipinets in October 2025 and has fought once in 2026 already, stopping Jimerr Espinosa in seven rounds.

In the fourth title combat of the night time, Mexico’s Rafael Espinoza (28-0, 24 KOs) makes the fifth protection of his WBO featherweight crown versus Venezuela’s Lorenzo Parra (24-1-1, 18 KOs).
Espinoza edged Robeisy Ramirez by majority resolution to seize the championship in December 2023 and has stopped all 4 opponents in his title defenses.
Parra is one combat eliminated from a majority draw with Omar Trinidad, but he bounced back with a second-round stoppage of Elijah Pierce in February.
WBO No. 1-ranked contender David Picasso (33-1-1, 18 KOs) appears to be like to make it two wins in a row since being outpointed by Naoya Inoue last December when he takes on Carl Jammes Martin (28-0, 21 KOs).
