The Cleveland Cavaliers will have their closing home preseason sport on Sunday night. This is their second of three exhibition contests.

The Cavs did some issues nicely in their first outing this previous Thursday. Peyton Watson seemed strong in his first outing with his new group, Jaylon Tyson picked up where he left off last season, and Meleek Thomas had a strong debut. Those are all optimistic indicators heading into the season.

There were, however, issues that the Cavs hope will change by the begin of the season. Mainly, the protection and rebounding left much to be desired. Cleveland struggled to present resistance at the level of attack. And when they did drive missed pictures, they weren’t there to clean up on the glass. That will need to change if they need to be a top-five protection.
