Cody Bellinger has gone Platinum.
The Yankees outfielder, already announced as a Gold Glove winner earlier this week, was awarded the American League’s Platinum Glove award as the junior circuit’s prime defensive participant on Friday night time.
Cubs heart fielder — and former Mets prospect — Pete Crow-Armstrong took home the award for the National League.

All Gold Glove winners from each league are eligible for the Platinum honor, and a winner is decided by a fan vote.
Bellinger is the second Yankee to win the prime defensive honor after catcher Jose Trevino took home the award in 2022.
The 2026 All-Star spent 130 video games in the outfield, 123 of which were in left subject.
He ranked in the 87th percentile in fielding run worth and recorded six outs above average, which ranked in the 91st percentile, according to Baseball Savant.

Bellinger was third in all of baseball with 21 defensive runs saved.
In more conventional defensive metrics, Bellinger had a .989 fielding share with eight assists as an outfielder in 2026. He also spent some time (six video games) at first base, talking to his defensive versatility.
It was a yr to bear in mind for Bellinger’s trophy case, as he had already won the All-Star Game MVP thanks to a two-run single of the AL’s win in Philadelphia in July.
