Heroes, zeros and the full blitz from the Jets’ 26-19 loss to the Patriots on Sunday:

Hero

Drake Maye was 18-for-32 for 235 yards and threw three touchdowns in the win without a turnover. And his numbers seemingly would have been higher if A.J. Brown — just back from an ankle damage — didn’t have a career-high three dropped passes.

Zero

Part of Maye’s success came from the reality the Jets were hardly in a position to get to him. Even with three New England offensive linemen struggling accidents during the recreation, the Jets weren’t in a position to sack Maye once.

Unsung hero

Corey Kiner, the Patriots third-string operating back behind Rhamondre Stevenson and TreVeyon Henderson, helped seal the victory for New England with a pair of stable returns on particular groups, as nicely as six straight dashing makes an attempt — for a mixed 30 yards — on their last scoring drive.

Quote of the day

“I don’t think anybody feels good about 2-4, but I do feel good about the effort we’re playing with. … No doubt about it, being 2-4 does not feel good, but there’s some things I know we can build on.”

— Aaron Glenn of the battle the Jets confirmed in defeat
