Motek, a chain of well-liked, Mediterranean-inspired eating places with seven Miami-area places, is taking the Big Apple plunge.
Happy Corner Hospitality, based by Charlie Levy, will launch three sit-down places — at 168-170 Wythe Ave. in Williamsburg, at 928 Broadway in Flatiron, and at 2178 Broadway, where it will take over the present Serafina nook space.
The Upper West Side location will open in 2026, while the other two are due later this 12 months. In addition, the company’s Sesame Bakery will launch at outlet in Battery Park.

Motek’s menu is described as kosher-style, with olive oil, avocado and butter changing seed oils.
Typical dishes embrace complete Mediterranean branzino, crispy chicken schnitzel with harissa aioli and Middle Eastern dumplings.
Levy, who lived here for 20 years before shifting to Miami, said, “Miami is often called the sixth borough, so expanding here feels like a natural next step.”
