Melania Trump’s new film could be set for a powerful opening night time as a theatre in the US exhibits no tickets being offered. The documentary about the First Lady, will be proven across a whole bunch of screens nationwide after Amazon, the film’s distributor, spent thousands and thousands to launch it in cinemas around the world.
Despite Amazon splashing out $40m (£29m) on the movie, it seems the film could wrestle as it hits the screens. Not a single ticket has been offered for the 9.55pm viewing at the busiest film theatre in the metro-Jacksonville space. Cinemark Jacksonville’s web site exhibits that every single seat is obtainable with people even being in a position to buy up to 20 tickets.
It seems this isn’t the only cinema where Melania’s movie has failed to promote any seats. One X person shared an image of the 3.30pm screening of the documentary in Atlanta and once again every seat was obtainable.
The X person posted: “Zero sold in Atlanta. Opening night. Busy theater.” The movie is not seemingly to be a smash hit with the UK viewers either, Tim Richards, the chief govt of Vue, advised The Telegraph that curiosity in the documentary, which opens in British cinemas on Friday, had so far been weak.
Melania is on monitor to be launched in nearly 30 nations worldwide. The UK’s 4 largest cinema operators – Odeon, Vue, Cineworld and Showcase – are all scheduled to maintain screenings.
The documentary follows the 20 days main up to the Presidential Inauguration in January 2025, Melania Trump granted Amazon MGM Studios behind-the-scenes access to her life.
Melania said: “History is set in motion during the 20 days of my life prior to the U.S. Presidential Inauguration. For the first time, global audiences are invited into theaters to witness this pivotal chapter unfold—a private, unfiltered look as I navigate family, business, and philanthropy on my remarkable journey to becoming First Lady of the United States of America.”
The First Lady advised Fox News: “[This story] has never been told, and because the subject matter is historically consequential, it was imperative for me to produce a film of the highest cinematic standard, suitable exclusively in theaters worldwide.
“The 20 days of my life, preceding the U.S. Presidential inauguration, constitutes a rare and defining moment—one that warrants meticulous care, integrity, and uncompromising craftsmanship,” she said. “I am proud to share this very specific moment of my life—20 days of intense transition and planning—with moviegoers and fans across the globe.”
