Pat McAfee is bringing his alternate soccer broadcast to the NFL — including the Super Bowl.

The ESPN persona announced Friday on “The Pat McAfee Show” that his “Field Pass” broadcast will be featured during Super Bowl 2027 on Feb. 14 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif.

The show will also cowl choose “Monday Night Football” video games this season, beginning with the Commanders visiting the 49ers on Oct. 19.

“There was a little bit of a pipe dream that maybe if we have a little bit of success with this field pass with college, maybe with the relationship that ESPN has with the NFL that we could do some field passes for NFL games, ‘Monday Night Football’ games,” McAfee said.

Analyst and former quarterback Dan Orlovsky will be part of McAfee and his crew for the NFL broadcasts, while ex-linebacker A.J. Hawk will proceed taking part in the faculty soccer model.

The “Field Pass” format will function McAfee and other commentators stationed close to the area, offering stay reactions, evaluation and commentary all through video games.

Unlike a commonplace TV broadcast, the presentation locations its commentators alongside the motion as opposed to being in a broadcast sales space.

The alternate broadcast made its debut during the 2024-25 College Football Playoff semifinals.

Its broadcast of the Rose Bowl between Indiana and Alabama earlier this yr averaged 2.4 million viewers.

Super Bowl 2027 will mark the first time ESPN will produce the NFL championship recreation since turning into a rights accomplice with the league.

The conventional broadcast will air on ESPN and ABC, with the expectation that Joe Buck and Troy Aikman will call the motion.

ESPN also plans to offer a separate “ManningCast” that includes brothers Peyton and Eli Manning.
