A San Francisco tech bro has turned the metropolis’s infamous Tenderloin neighborhood into a zombie-shooting video recreation — and critics are livid that he’s seemingly created a world where gamers can kill homeless drug customers and other downtrodden characters.
“San Francisco couldn’t fix the Tenderloin. So I monetized it,” developer Pierre-Louis Biojout bragged on X.
Boijout unveiled the free, multiplayer browser recreation Tuesday, describing it as a “Call of Duty style zombie shooter on the real SF streets.”
The developer claimed he constructed the recreation in just one weekend utilizing AI coding instruments, despite never having made a video recreation before — and had already raked in $300 in promoting income.
But the weird creation sparked an fast firestorm, with livid social media customers accusing Biojout of turning the metropolis’s homelessness disaster into leisure.

“You think you’re being edgy but you’re just a huge piece of s–t,” one critic blasted.
“Bring back shame. This is atrocious PR,” another fumed.
“Guy makes a game where you shoot homeless people and thinks he’s the hero,” a third wrote.
But not everyone was clutching their pearls.
“Best game I play so far this year,” one gamer gushed, while another laughed that “the zombie on the lime scooter gets me every time.”

Others defended the creator, arguing that San Francisco officers deserved the criticism instead.
“SF created and refuses to fix an urban wasteland,” one supporter wrote, questioning why people were shaming the recreation rather than the metropolis.
Biojout appeared unfazed by the backlash.
When one commenter declared the recreation “not cool,” the developer fired back with just two phrases — sure to rage-bait those in his replies.
“Why not?”
