Former world heavyweight champion Wilder, 40, was once thought-about the most feared puncher in boxing. However, he has lost 4 of his last six bouts, leaving his report at 44-4-1.
Chisora says this will be his last struggle. If he is to be believed, can he bow out on a high? And with Wilder no longer at his peak, could a win on the highway reignite his profession?
BBC Sport asks figures from across the boxing world for their predictions.
Joe Calzaghe – former world champion
“It’s a tough fight to call. I really like ‘Del Boy’, I still remember him coming and training in our gym and my dad making him very ill doing runs up and down our steps. I’m not sure how much either of these guys have left in the tank if I am honest, I think it is one of those fights that could go either way and will probably end with one punch. I’m going to side with Derek on this one.”

Natasha Jonas – former two-weight world champion
“Surely it’s ending in a knockout. I’d love to see Derek get the win but I also do fear a win keeps him in the mix and he stays for more fights. I do think, for safety reasons more than anything, that this should be his last fight. But I feel like I say that every time.
“Both males have got a probability. Chisora has been through the tougher fights and more longevity in his profession, but then again Wilder is not coming off the best outcomes. If I was pushed to make a choice, I’d go with Chisora.”
Prediction – Chisora
Harlem Eubank – welterweight boxer
“I am going to edge to Chisora on Saturday. At this stage of their careers, he is a bit more compact and I think he will be ready to grind Wilder down, sit on his chest, and let heavy pictures go. I think it’ll be Chisora, by stoppage, in the second half of the struggle.”

Michael Conlan – retired boxer
“Chisora wins this struggle by late TKO but is put down earlier in the struggle. Wilder is the most harmful punching heavyweight out there still, and he will be harmful early on and could drop Chisora. But I think he then falls aside, Chisora canine homes him and gets to him late.”
Prediction – Chisora
Kalle Sauerland – boxing promoter
“Wilder is going to be coming on robust early, but I expect Derek to climate the storm, stalk his man down and end it in huge fashion in the twelfth spherical.”
Prediction – Chisora
Tommy Fury – pro boxer and reality TV star
“It will be a very entertaining struggle for sure, and I’m wanting ahead to it. It is powerful to call, so I’m going to say whoever lands the huge one first will take it.”

Prediction – 50/50
Fabio Wardley – WBO heavyweight world champion
“I’d most likely edge towards Chisora as the favorite, but it does not imply Wilder can’t pull out that equaliser.
“I think if it’s Wilder, it’s a clean KO win. If it’s Chisora, it’s an overwhelming barrage – working him down, punch after punch without much coming back, and then the ref steps in.”
Prediction – Chisora
Moses Itauma – British heavyweight
“I’m going for Chisora. He wins by mid-to-late stoppage.”
Prediction – Chisora
Shane McGuigan – boxing coach
“Chisora has been fighting since I was an amateur boxer and I’m now an established trainer of multiple world champions, yet he’s still going. There’s only so much the body can take and he’s an incredibly tough, dense man. But it’s now time to retire.

“With Wilder, he is someone who held his type effectively but the decline has been speedy. He was once phenomenal but he’s now a stepping stone for youthful fighters and a shell of the fighter he once was. I’d be stunned if he can flip his profession around. So I think Chisora will take him out.”
Prediction – Chisora
Francesca Hennessy – British bantamweight
“I’d say Wilder for me. Chisora has had a great profession. I really feel like he’s had a lot of fights. But I do believe Wilder will get the win on this one.”
Prediction – Wilder
Paul Smith – coach and retired boxer
“I think Chisora will win by late stoppage.”
