Hundreds of people, principally minors, have been arrested and dozens injured as a wave of faculty protests over overcrowded courses and trainer shortages spreads across France, officers say.
The demonstrations started in Paris last week but have escalated to cities including Dijon, Lyon, Strasbourg, Lille and Marseille, with youngsters blockading their faculties for days.
