Brian Schottenheimer saved issues short and tense.
The Cowboys’ head coach had a unusually short postgame press convention after a dominant second half and a huge 38-21 win over the Eagles to keep them in the hunt in the NFC East.
Schottenheimer can be heard describing the sport as “it was good,” and “it was solid” in a string of short solutions that lasted just over 4 minutes in one of the shortest press conferences reporters have seen for any coach this season.

At the finish of the press convention, a reporter requested why he was so temporary.
“You seem a little short. Not as exuberant as you’ve been in the past is everything ok?” the reporter requested to close the press convention.
“Nope, I’m great,” Schottenheimer responded. “Excited for our guys.”
Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, though, confirmed that the head coach was upset.
“Definitely hungry, pissed off version of Shotty” Prescott revealed after the “MNF” win. “It’s not like he’s naive. It’s not like he hadn’t heard some noise about him. And whether it’s the call in the games or whatever doubt that’s been out there. But we’ve got his back. He knows that. He’s a guy that takes a lot of pride in his job, a lot of pride in this team.”
There’s been loads of discourse about Schottenheimer’s use of his offense, as Dallas has run the ball the fourth fewest occasions in the NFL.
Schottenheimer came out with a clear purpose against the Eagles, sending Javonte Williams out there for 25 carries, by far the most occasions this season, and his 155 dashing yards are a single-game profession high.
They also got backup Tyler Goodson acclimated to the offense with 10 carries of his own for 38 yards.

Among critics of Schottenheimer embody Cowboys radio persona Shan Shariff, who recommended that the Cowboys head coach hand over play calling duties to offensive coordinator Klaytoh Adams.
The frustration stemmed from the Cowboys passing the ball 54 occasions against the Packers in Week 6 in a 23-13 loss but they’ve appeared to reverse course on that strategy this week.
The Cowboys face the beatable Cardinals next week in Dallas, trying to get back to .500 and gain ground on the first-place Giants in the NFC East.
