Dominick Reyes wasn’t executed choosing fights after his huge win at UFC 333 on Saturday.
The two-time gentle heavyweight title challenger scored a stellar first-round knockout of Azamat Murzakanov to close out the UFC 333 prelims in Abu Dhabi. All appeared to be effectively for Reyes, who’s now won two fights in a row following a lackluster determination win over Johnny Walker in April.

In his post-fight interview with Daniel Cormier, Reyes was understandably all smiles after a clean efficiency. But that modified hours later, when Reyes took to X for the first time since June to randomly lambast the UFC Hall of Famer turned colour commentator.
Said Reyes in a livid string of posts:
Real discuss, who truly likes listening to low iq hater ass DC?!
I have a long flight let’s get some truths going!
Sick of being the good man while these clowns flat out disrespect and marginalize what I’ve executed in this sport. These so called “experts”.
And no Jon jones did not whoop all of us, he whooped you! Bad! Multiple instances. Kid
Calling me child, Mf I’m a grown ass man!
We’re at the level where we applaud dc for figuring out fundamental grappling strikes.
@DominickCruz Was proper all along.
And another factor!
This wasn’t Cormier’s first time being focused in retirement by a fighter on social media.
The former UFC gentle heavyweight and heavyweight champion has always defended his work in the broadcast sales space, and ultimately did so by responding to Reyes.
Said Cormier:
Chill
Yo dom chill. I do not call you child negatively I’ve only spoke fact to you. When you do some wonderful s*** like you did right now I reward you. If you do something like the last struggle with Johnny [Walker], I converse The Truth about that too. But these feedback appear like you’ve been carrying something with you for a while. You can always discuss to me. I’m not very arduous to discover.
All of which, unsurprisingly, prompted a fast response from Reyes:
My identify is Dominick not Kid. Yeah I heard your commentary tonight on my struggle. How about the half where Paul called you out for your clear bias? And what did you do? You laughed about it. No I do not know where to discover you?? I’ve actually never seen you anywhere other than around the cage or in the cage post struggle. I’m bothered by your lack of analysis and information while commentating. Your “expert” commentary sways the opinions of average followers, and that has a profound impact on our lives. Your clear bias towards fighters from the caucus area is irritating, particularly being an American fighter.
It appeared the spat might finish there. Cormier, however, had one more follow-up response before each man called it a evening — at least in their exchange.

Reyes later continued, commenting on the other struggle outcomes from UFC 333.
Cormier:
You’re tripping bud and actually I’ll just discover you for a dialog. I truly like you. I instructed your group how wonderful you appeared tonight this may have been your best efficiency. But this is insane. Just stop! Seriously
Reyes:
I’m not your buddy man. But severely, I do not care if you like me, actually. I only care that you have unbiased effectively knowledgeable colour commentary. I will stop now but not because you requested me to.
Reyes, 36, has been on a sizzling streak of late after enduring a tough four-fight skid that started with his first profession loss — an notorious and controversial unanimous determination defeat to then-light heavyweight champion Jon Jones in February 2020.
Following his newest work at UFC 333, Reyes has won 5 of his last six bouts, with 4 ending in knockouts. His lone loss came to the division’s present champion, Carlos Ulberg.
