Sure, they may nicely be another model of LIV Golf next season and beyond, but it nearly actually will not operate on the same stage financially as years gone by.

It was announced back in April that Saudi Arabia’s PIF would be withdrawing their funding from the league at the finish of the 2026 season.
And since then, there has been lots of hypothesis surrounding the futures of LIV Golf‘s greatest stars.

Bryson DeChambeau‘s contract with LIV Golf expired at the finish of the present season, while Jon Rahm still has a couple of years to run on his deal.
However, it is being claimed that the gamers who need to transfer on from LIV Golf 2.0 will be in a position to do so freely.
Escape route for LIV golfers revealed
Golf author Alan Shipnuck made an look on the Dan on Golf show on Wednesday.

He was requested what will occur to those LIV Golf gamers whose contracts run beyond the finish of this season.
“It depends who you ask“ Shipnuck admitted.
“The player agents are of the opinion that the contracts are highly specific. 14 events, $45m purses etc.

“So the brokers really feel like that is voided, it’s not the contract we signed. If you give me 10 occasions for $8m we’re out.
“Whether LIV goes into bankruptcy, however how much hardball the new guys want to play, this might have to be adjudicated by attorneys or you could even see a law suit.“
With LIV Golf 2.0 expected to operate under far stricter financial constraints, it will be no shock in any way to see many of the massive names strive to secure returns to the PGA Tour.

LIV Golf gamers ‘really feel like they are free’
Shipnuck highlighted how any participant who is still under contract with LIV Golf should be in a position to depart if they so select.
“Generally speaking the players feel like they are free,“ Shipnuck said.
“They have been talking about having stuff left on our contract.
“I really feel like it’s a bit of a cop out when they say ‘I am going to see what I need to do, let’s see how this contract performs out’.
“Most the people close to it feel as if they can get out if they want to.“
It will be actually attention-grabbing to see which gamers resolve to depart LIV Golf over the next few months, and which ones stay with the league.
