Anthony Edwards: Ant-Man came out of the gate scorching, scoring 45 factors with 10 boards, 3 assists and 3 shares in the opener against Miami. Edwards is off to a good begin in his quest for a first scoring title, something Dan Titus threw out there in his daring predictions for this season. This T-Wolves group should be enjoyable all season with LaMelo Ball in city.
Nikola Jokić: Now here’s another acquainted identify! And one you’ll doubtless learn about typically in this sequence all through the season. The Nuggets’ large turned in a efficiency we’re used to seeing — 35 factors, 15 rebounds, 10 assists and 5 shares for the second highest rating of the week. Joker should see this ceiling again in Week 2 with some winnable matchups against the Warriors, Pelicans and Suns.
Jalen Johnson: Last season’s breakout star in fantasy, Johnson is off to a great begin. The stat-stuffing ahead posted 26 factors, 9 rebounds and 16 assists with 2 steals against the Rockets over the weekend. Johnson will get that same matchup against Houston on Monday before dealing with the Heat, Cavaliers and Pelicans later in the week.
Jayson Tatum: It was a story of two Tatums in Week 1. In the opener, the Celtics star struggled with just 13 factors on 6-of-23 taking pictures from the flooring (0-for-7 from 3-point vary). But Tatum bounced back against the defending champs on Friday, posting 36 factors, 9 rebounds and 7 assists with 3 steals in the victory. Ty Jerome: We did not see this coming in Week 1. Jerome entered the season set to take over as the start line guard in place of Ja Morant, who was shipped to Portland. Jerome was a fashionable sleeper decide going into the marketing campaign, and while it’s still early, he’s wanting like a steal after dropping a career-high 45 factors with 7 rebounds and 6 assists in the opener against Utah. He’s already wanting like a league-winner.
The Grizzlies PG tied with two superstars — Giannis Antetokounmpo and Devin Booker. The Heat and Antetokounmpo are off to an 0-3 begin to the season, though the Greek Freak will usually be stable in this High Score format. Booker’s 43-7-7 line helped elevate Phoenix to a win over the Dubs over the weekend.
