Fury FC Vice President and head matchmaker Rich Burmaster believes it should.
“We packed this card full of guys ready to get the call up to the UFC,” Burmaster instructed MMAmania.com. “Each of the title fights featured a fighter knocking on the door. Meck and Taylor were two of the top unsigned Welterweights outside the UFC, and I believe Taylor gets the call.”
Taylor (15-5) is using a five-fight profitable streak with 4 finishes, three of which came in the first spherical.
The 34-year-old also owns a first-round knockout victory over former UFC title challenger and Bellator champion Rory MacDonald, a end result that despatched the Canadian legend into retirement (watch highlights).
