Calm down, California. Your favourite burgers aren’t going N-ywhere.

California-based burger empire In-N-Out Burger is setting the file straight on wild rumors that the chain is planning to close all of its California places amid its eastward growth.

In an interview marking the chain’s 78th anniversary, In-N-Out proprietor and president Lynsi Synder instructed Terry Crews that the business has no plans to go away the golden state, despite her household’s transfer to Tennessee.

“This is where we started, where we are and where we will always be,” said Snyder, the granddaughter of In-N-Out founders Harry and Esther Snyder. The fast food heiress said she heard rumors that In-N-Out is planning to go away California, which she says would be “the dumbest business decision ever.”

But that doesn’t imply the chain isn’t making massive modifications. In-N-Out is at present making ready to open an “eastern headquarters” in Tennessee, where the chain at present operates 5 places.

Synder teased the chain’s growth to other states.

“We continue to grow in California and we have lots of stores slotted for future cities in California. I’m also excited to go to other states. There’s definitely some earmarked,” said Snyder.

The burger boss said that increasing to other states creates the alternative for staff to relocate and help set up new places, with the risk of transfering.

“We have our California people who are going to be here, and that’s obviously the majority …  and we have a great team that’s going out there. And there’s a little more opportunity for people to buy houses out there,” said Snyder.

Founded in Baldwin Park in 1948, In-N-Out at present has 445 eating places in 10 states, including 289 places in California. The chain’s most current opening was a new store in Stockton.

Though the chain is headquartered in Irvine, they announced plans to relocate their headquarters back to Baldwin Park by the finish of 2029.

Plans for several other In-N-Out’s across California are underway, including places in Palm Springs, Chino, Commerce, and South El Monte.

Despite the chain’s immense reputation, which has sparked an underground community of unauthorized deliveries, In-N-Out’s places are largely concentrated on the West Coast, making it a standard vacation spot for California vacationers.
