Even billionaires can’t buy peace and quiet.

Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey has spent almost 14 years remodeling his sprawling $32 million San Francisco property into a luxurious retreat — full with a large sauna advanced, plunge pool and rooftop gardens — while his prosperous neighborhood has turned into a seemingly limitless construction zone.

And his utlra-wealthy neighbors are over it.

“I’ve been listening to 24-7 construction noise in the distance for years now,” one native advised The Post on the situation of anonymity. “One day it will end. I hope.”

The tech mogul’s two adjoining properties in the unique Sea Cliff enclave overlook the Pacific Ocean and Golden Gate Bridge, occupying a mixed 1.21 acres along El Camino del Mar.

But instead of the tranquility that comes with a multimillion-dollar oceanfront deal with, the neighborhood has been stuffed with the sounds of jackhammers, cement mixers and construction vans for over a decade, according to SFGate.

Dorsey, 49, who now heads financial technology company Block, bought his first property at 830 El Camino del Mar in February 2012 for $9.99 million.

The 3,734-square-foot modernist residence, constructed in 1965, initially featured just two bedrooms and two bogs.

Construction started within months of the buy and has continued in varied varieties ever since.

City information show that a main redevelopment utility submitted in December 2013 proposed $3.7 million value of enhancements, including seismic upgrades, further dwelling space, roof decks and a planted roof.

That allow alone took three and a half years to secure.

Another redesign submitted in 2020 introduced modifications to the property’s home windows, courtyard and exterior finishes, with approval arriving in July 2022.

And the paperwork stored coming.

Subsequent purposes lined everything from photo voltaic panels and landscaping to fire sprinklers, retaining partitions, an underground water tank and a cold plunge pool.

Architectural plans reveal an elaborate coastal sanctuary that includes three vegetation-covered roofs, reclaimed redwood siding, stonework and expansive home windows overlooking the ocean.

The major bed room opens onto a non-public sizzling tub perched above the Pacific, while other facilities embrace a steam room, a plunge pool and an in depth sauna advanced with its own vestibule and devoted passageway.

There’s also a gymnasium with a punching bag, an outside fire pit, cedar benches and 34 photo voltaic panels.

The home’s fire safety system alone required plans for 122 sprinklers and a devoted 145-foot water line.

As the renovation dragged on, Dorsey expanded his real estate holdings.

In November 2018, he bought the neighboring property for $21.9 million, bringing his mixed acquisition prices to roughly $31.9 million. That five-bedroom, three-bathroom residence spans roughly 3,588 sq. ft and sits on 0.62 acre.

Although restrictions separating the properties were subsequently eliminated, the architectural plans do not show the two homes being mixed into a single building.

Dorsey is hardly the only tech titan assembling a sprawling residential compound.

Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg has acquired neighboring estates in Lake Tahoe, while OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has assembled a number of adjoining properties around his San Francisco mansion.

But Dorsey’s seemingly never-ending renovation is only half of a much larger construction frenzy in Sea Cliff.

The prestigious neighborhood, which has counted late comic Robin Williams and actress Sharon Stone among its residents, is also home to Salesforce co-founder Marc Benioff and billionaire investor Tom Steyer.

Along the eight-block stretch of El Camino del Mar, at least 24 houses have filed building permits since the starting of 2025, according to planning paperwork.

During a current go to, the outlet documented mansions lined in scaffolding, construction crews occupying sidewalks and heavy gear working outside multimillion-dollar houses.

Even the spectacular views have become a source of irritation.

When a customer stopped to {photograph} the Golden Gate Bridge through a hole between two homes, a close by resident complained about the fixed consideration.

“This always happens,” the neighbor advised SF Gate. “It’s so annoying.”

The Post has reached out to reps for Dorsey for remark.
