Warnock laid into Trump and mentioned the second that the nation at present finds itself in:
This is just one more indication that we have an American president who does not believe in America. He does not believe in democracy. And we’re seeing a determined man attempting to maintain on to energy and he’s keen to do anything. And so this, this all-out attack on the First Amendment, this attack on voting rights is about a, a failed president. He’s an abject failure.
The people of this nation those who voted for him, employed him to decrease their prices, to decrease the price of groceries, decrease the price of gasoline. They’ve seen those costs skyrocket. They’ve seen their healthcare premiums double. He said he’d keep us out of limitless wars. We’re now eight months into this un- lawful struggle of selection. And so he knows that the voters are coming, and so he’s attempting to cut it off at the path. He does not need journalists to be ready to share with us what’s going on in our own authorities with our own money, and he’s doing everything he can to wage struggle against our elections.
Warnock went on to clarify that he knows Trump knows his financial system is horrible.
