A Ryanair aircraft was pressured to reverse on the runway after a drunk passenger precipitated “chaos” onboard. Police were called after a man on the flight, which was heading from Madrid to Ibiza, refused to pay attention to the cabin crew.
The drunk man then reportedly shouted at fellow passengers during the flight last Thursday (February 12). Despite members of the crew intervening, as effectively as another passenger, the man continued to be disruptive. They added: “He kept using his phone, and then they reprimanded him. The plane had to stop, attendants approached him, he took off his seatbelt, until a fellow passenger told him enough was enough. It was chaotic.”
Police were finally called after the aircraft stopped and the man was eliminated. Ryanair has been contacted for remark.
