Helicopters are making headlines in the NFL too.

Though this didn’t contain a commute to and from follow — a la LeBron James — a scary incident occurred during the National Anthem at Lumen Field on Monday night time when one helicopter appeared to practically get hit by fireworks.

Four US Army helicopters flew over the discipline prior to the “Monday Night Football” conflict between the Seahawks and Bears. Three made it safely out of the stadium before the pyrotechnics went off, but the last chopper narrowly escaped.

As the fireworks exploded around the last helicopter, gasps were heard among the crowd of 70,000. The helicopter remained in the air and adopted the others beyond in the stadium in the Seattle sky.

Multiple angles from varied videos were posted on social media of the second as followers freaked out over the incident that seemingly concerned some miscommunication by the stadium’s workers.

“That firework timing was actually dangerous af, how did they coordinate that without crashing?” a fan wrote on X.

“Somebody in the control room is having the worst Monday night of their life,” another wrote.

A 3rd added: “blackhawk is kinda made for that”

“Fireworks are more accurate than [Sam] Darnold tonight!” one quipped.

“Bro i would be so f–king terrified if i was on that helicopter,” another consumer added.

Helicopter flyovers have become a common occasion of types at Lumen Field. They were also concerned in the pregame festivities before Team USA’s World Cup recreation against Australia in June.

The Seahawks went on to lose 34-17 to the Bears, which places the defending Super Bowl champs at a 4-4 report and presently out of the playoffs.

Sam Darnold accomplished 17-of-34 passes for 188 yards with two touchdowns and one interception, while the protection gave up 4 touchdowns including three on the ground.

The Bears (6-2) now path the Vikings (6-1) by a half-game for the high spot of the NFC North, as effectively as the 49ers (6-1) for the best report in the convention.

The Seahawks will look to bounce back against their divisional foe Cardinals (3-5) in Week 9 while the Bears host the Buccaneers (3-5).
