The Valkyries defeated the Dream 67-62 to tie up the WNBA Finals at two video games a piece.
The Game 4 victory was enormous for Golden State after shedding back-to-back video games to Atlanta. Head coach Natalie Nakase switched up the Valkyries’ beginning lineup, which paid off as the group led by 16 factors at halftime.
The Dream didn’t give up so simple, though, shrinking the deficit with a robust fourth quarter efficiency.
Gabby Williams led the Valkyries with 17 factors, 5 rebounds, and two steals. Center Kiah Stokes also posted 16 rebounds and three blocks, a WNBA Finals document.
Angel Reese completed Game 4 with eight factors, 9 boards while taking pictures 2-for-12 from the discipline. Ultimately, Golden State shut down the Dream with stellar protection.
The Valkyries pressured 17 Atlanta turnovers, which is the most-ever by the Dream in the 2026 playoffs. The second-year franchise also held Atlanta to 18-for-54 on taking pictures.
Moreover, the Dream missed 9 free throws in a five-point loss.
Now, the collection is tied 2-2 with the Finals returning to Ballhalla. The Valkyries have existed for only two seasons, but have managed to promote out every common season home sport since its inception.
The postseason environment at the Chase Center has been electric, which should play to Golden State’s benefit in Game 5.
