‘You Will Respect Our President!’ Ilhan Omar Defended Trump Hard When a European Diplomat Trashed Him, GOP Congresswoman Claims

Here is something from the “You Wouldn’t Have Bet on It” file: Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) passionately sticking up for President Donald Trump (R) to European politicians while touring overseas.

But that is precisely what occurred, according to Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL), who shocked businessman and political commentator Patrick Bet-David by telling him the story on his PBD Podcast on Thursday.

Omar, Luna said, was half of a House delegation that went to converse with several members of the European Union in April. Luna said on the journey there was a “total as*hole” from Belgium who began ripping the congressmembers, saying how Trump did not “respect” them and felt they were a “joke.”

That is when Omar, Luna said, jumped in, stared at the Belgian politician, and rebuked him.

“You might not like what our president is doing, and you might not agree with our foreign policy,” Omar said. “But when we’re here, you will respect our president!”

“Stop it,” a shocked PBD responded,

Luna advised PBD that Omar’s protection of Trump “blew me away” and that it was pleasantly stunning. The Florida congresswoman added it was good for the Americans to current a “united front” when dealing with overseas leaders — particularly when it comes to dealing with some “jerk from Belgium.”

Omar’s protection of Trump not only stands out because of the Democrat-Republican celebration distinction, but because the Minnesota liberal has bashed the president repeatedly.

Earlier this month, she branded the president an “embarrassing, racist, corrupt liar,”  and she equally blasted MAGA followers as “racist and xenophobic” in March. Trump, meanwhile, just lately called Omar a “disgraceful person” for her response to conservative influencer Charlie Kirk being shot and killed.
